A Selective Guide to the Arts in Los Angeles

Celebrate the life and legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King with the Santa Monica Symphony’s annual MLK Holiday Concert on Saturday, Jan. 19, at 2 p.m. The music of African-American composers George Walker and James Weldon Johnson share the program with Mozart and Mendelssohn along with a piece by Santa Monica composer Adrienne Albert. All Santa Monica Symphony concerts are free and ticketless with open seating.
