Celebrate the end of summer in style when MUSE/IQUE presents its SUMMER/TIME concert finale on Saturday, Sept. 10, at 7:30 p.m. at Caltech’s Beckman Mall Lawn in Pasadena.

SUMMER/TIME re-imagines Gershwin‘s complex, heartbreaking and beautiful contribution to the American opera, Porgy and Bess, in a musical storytelling complemented by grooving modern classics. Conducted by Rachael Worby and directed by theatrical star Matthew McCray, SUMMER/TIME weaves the worlds of theater, music and dance featuring the “jookin” master Charles “Lil Buck” Riley, the “Ambassador of Soul” singer Ellis Hall, jazz vocalist Kenton Chen, opera singer Vanessa Becerra and the rich voices of the Spirit Chorale of Los Angeles.
