LACMA in Your Living Room

April 2, 2020 | By | Category: Art and Museums

Each week on Monday morning, LACMA shares a selection of artworks, activities, and stories from the museum—all from its deep archive of free digital content. The content is accessible from the newly redesigned homepage (designed to make digital content easily accessible).

Videos of current exhibitions can be seen here. Other compelling content includes LACMA’s Artists on Art series in which current working artists discuss works in the museum’s encyclopedic collection that have inspired and informed them. LACMA Productions features short documentaries commissioned by emerging and mid-career filmmakers on contemporary artists (if you haven’t seen it already, check out the firm on Baldessari narrated by Tom Waits). The museum has also curated playlists designed to complement exhibitions.
