A Selective Guide to the Arts in Los Angeles

Orchestra Santa Monica opens the season with “Summer Into  Fall” on Sunday, Oct. 9, at 2:30 p.m. The concert will feature works by Mozart and Beethoven, as well as a Southern California premiere by Chen Yi, with Mark Robson on piano.

Mark Robson has been hailed by the Los Angeles Times as a performer with a “monster technique” and “an inquiring mind” and a pianist for whom everything he “touched sparkled.” Come hear Robson’s “sparkling” Mozart, timeless Beethoven and Chen Yi’s summertime piece as they lead Orchestra Santa Monica into its fall season.
