Tonight, Leonard Slatkin, chairman of the Jury for the Fifteenth Van Cliburn International Piano Competition (taking place May 25-June 10 at Bass Performance Hall), announced the six pianists advancing to the Final Round, which starts Wednesday, June 7, and continues through Saturday, June 10.

The finalists are:

Yury Favorin, Russia, 30

Daniel Hsu, United States, 19

Yekwon Sunwoo, South Korea, 28

Georgy Tchaidze, Russia, 29
