Brightwork New Music has three more concerts in their Tuesdays @ Monk Space series this season.
Next up is Park/Walsh/Loo/Gerpe: AIRBORNE ALCHEMY with special guest Jane Kaczmarek on April 21, at 8 p.m.
Storms, spirits and leaping lepidoptera… there’s definitely something in the air! In Airborne Alchemy, violinist Alyssa Park, clarinetist Brian Walsh, cellist Timothy Loo and pianist Nic Gerpe perform fantastic flights of fancy including Almeida Prado’s Pana Pana II, Esa-Pekka Salonen’s Lachen Verlernt, Juhi Bansal’s Sand, Wind, Thorn and Paul Moravec’s Pulitzer-Prize winning Tempest Fantasy. The quartet will be joined by special guest narrator Jane Kaczmarek.
